Gray-blue kid’s bedspread 'Olly' is made of cotton fabric in waffle weave. Combed cotton was used for this model.
After combing, only long and thin cotton fibers remain, from which the finest, even and strong threads are obtained. Such a fabric is much softer and more pleasant to the touch, it does not contain short fibers and fluff, which give the product a roughness.
Natural 100% cotton is a natural material, it does not electrify, it is pleasant to the touch, it passes air well, so it “breathes”. For young children hypoallergenic property, environmental friendliness and comfort of the bedspread are especially important.
Waffle weave fabric was invented in the 18th century in Turkey. The peculiarity of this material is its strength and unique hygroscopicity. Cotton fabric with waffle weave absorbs three times more moisture than regular cotton fabric with the same weight. Waffle fabrics are light, not hot, such a bedspread can be used as a summer blanket or a cape for daytime sleep. 'Olly' is easy to wash at home using the delicate machine wash cycle.
