Pima is the finest long-staple cotton that grows in the southern United States as well as in Peru. Pima outperforms all other varieties due to its extra-long fibers, which are approximately 50% longer than most other types of cotton. They are also soft, gentle, flexible, and lightweight.
They make a very durable material that absorbs moisture well. This rare cotton is harvested exclusively by hand to avoid damaging the structure of its delicate fibers.
